We have been coming here for quite a while. The food is excellent, plenty of choice, with good size portions. The friendly service is spot on, quick enough that you're not kept waiting , but long enough that you don't feel rushed. Lovely place.

Courteous staff, eager to welcome and ensure the kids had a great time by constantly checking to see if there were needs to be met. I only feel we were not really at liberty to choose our own seats. We were ushered to seats that ordinarily I wouldn't pick as we sat too close to some folks I considered slightly loud, not too muchbof a big deal. But, again, the meals and staff would score or very close. Weldone.

Risotto del Boscu mmmmm wowsers! And the carpaccios were just excellent. Steak also great. What a Lovely place, full of welcoming staff who really care and so proud about great food and great service. We enjoyed everything. Had fun and am of the opinion It’s the only place i’d go again to in Gravesend after that meal. The chef and owners are from Sicily and have won several awards.... A little gem in the East! Nice interiores too and central in town.

I was so impressed with the gluten-free options. There is no separate menu as most pizzas and pasta dishes could be made gf, and lots of the mains were naturally gluten free anyway! Delicious meal, lovely service, great atmosphere

honestly I felt like I was in Italy when I had the pizza. That too it was a gluten free pizza and tasted so amazing. I had the vegetarian pizza with pesto and grilled veggies. OMG it was so amazing. It is without a doubt that Mad In Italy serves up the best pizza in town hands down. I wish this restaurant gets all the awards it deserves. It really is a gem of a place and the owners and staff are so friendly and warm. Thank you for making food which is so good, so fresh and so reasonably priced too.

Very tasty, flavoursome and authentic Italian fare, with a broad menu that will please everyone. Particularly good hand-made pasta (scialatelli) and scaloppine al Marsala. Friendly, professional service in bright and spotless surroundings. Very careful approach to allergy management with a number of options even for someone with serious nut and peanut allergies. Would definitely return if in the area

Delicious food but the standout was the service - the staff were so good with our children, making sure they were catered for and even entertained whilst waiting for our food. Joe in particular was really helpful. We had two pizzas, a garlic bread, some courgette fries and a spaghetti bolognese for the kids and it was all delicious, and reasonable for the high quality of the food. The restaurant itself is really nicely decorated and lit, it felt bright but not overwhelmingly so, and there is plenty to look at on the walls and windows. I'll definitely be going back!

The desserts were equally impressive, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Mad Italy and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful meal. We will certainly be returning.
